Dr. Imelda P. Macaspac was installed as the new Officer-In-Charge Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd-Tarlac Province as she was welcomed during the turnover program at the F. R. White Hall on October 2.

Macaspac replaced Dr. Estrelita S. Cunanan who is now reassigned to City Schools Division of Mabalacat.

Prior to her assignment in Tarlac, Macaspac was the City of San Fernando (Pampanga) Schools Division Superintendent.

Key officials, supervisors, school heads and personnel of her previous station accompanied her to show support for her transfer. “I felt your sincerity, love, and concern. Dakal a salamat po kekayu,” Macaspac said.

Dr. Noel L. Linsao, OIC-ASDS presented quick facts and figures about the division during the formal turn-over, highlighting its recent ISO 9001:2015 certification. He also mentioned how Tarlaqueňos adapt to changes and welcome new leaders.

“I assure everyone from the Division of City of San Fernando, Dr. Macaspac in in good hands,” Linsao stated.

Resounding applause filled the White Hall as Macaspac took the stage to formally accept the Superintendency before DepEd-Tarlac Province and City of San Fernando Pampanga personnel. She recalled her previous positions and stations, along with the people and experiences she dealt and learned with that she carries along with her transfer in Tarlac Province.

“Tarlac is a new province for me. Tarlac is a new culture for me. But I do not worry because I know kung gaano ka-competent at ka-motivated ang SDO Tarlac Province,” she told the Tarlac Province personnel.

“I am not a perfect leader, but I give the best of me, to all of you for you also to be the best for others,” stressed the new SDS.
